Turbo Jam is a really nice workout from Beachbody. I bought it at the airport because I needed something to take with me on vacation. I was surprised because I never really expected that it would be so very good. Because of this, I was able to leave the gym for good. This is actually a very great buy. This is something that even my sister loves so I guess it really is that great. With the help of this, I was able to get the body that I wanted in a week.

I am really hooked on this one. I use it every morning and I am loving the results so far. I love working out at home because I am least self conscious there and I am getting greater results. Because of this, I am able to workout all my problem areas with ease. No more fuzz and hassle.

Thanks to Body Gospel DVD, I was able to reinforce my faith and at the same time, lose some weight. This is a perfect combination of variety and intensity for me. With beachbody workouts, I no longer have to go to the gym for workouts. This is a very nice full body conditioning workout. What’s nice about it is the praise music. I cannot get enough.

Why Celebrities Stink at Getting Fit

I know it sounds crazy but just hear me out. Every big name celebrity seems flawless, toned and in shape, right? But it’s all fake. Think about it, if you were getting paid millions of dollars wouldn’t you look fabulous too? I sure has heck would have more willpower to pass on the chocolate after dinner or the glass of wine.

Not to mention not only are they getting paid, but they’re also able to hire personal trainers that come to their homes to workout with them and often times even help them with cooking and grocery shopping… few of us have that luxury. And if you do, then congratulations.

Then there is the infamous photo editing. It’s so upsetting to see a magazine cover with a gorgeous actress or singer on the cover only to find out it’s been touched up so much then in reality it looks nothing like her. For example, Taylor Swift was just dropped from a make-up line because of so much photoshopping, it simply was being truthful about the product.

My favorite thing to hear is when an actress with a six-pack stands up in front of the cameras and announces that she never does a workout routine, hates exercises and love to munch on fries and pizza. Yea, ok… and pigs fly around all the time.

Hollywood had turned beauty into something that no one can achieve, the standards that they have raised for women are simply out of this world. As a personal trainer, I feel those pressures every day. I want my clients to look at me and say… yes she does have a body like Jillian Michaels or whatever they want to compare trainers to. I feel it because I do the same thing, I would never have a trainer who looks out of shape train me. It’s a rule I’ve had since I first started making fitness a part of my life over a decade ago.

I do admire the Hollywood stars who stand up and are completely honest… those like Kelly Ripa who announce that they work their butts off to be fit, and that they feel the pressures of their job each time they walk into the gym for a kick butt fat blasting workout.

But in an ideal world, celebrities would be depicted as they are, not as who the executive want them to be.

Dance Classes for My Daughter

My daughter just turned six years old and she has been begging me for a few months to let her be a ballerina. She has been watching a lot of children’s cartoons with ballerinas in them and she wants to be just like the girls that she watches on television. Although I do not know how long she will actually stick with dancing, I do believe that it is a great thing for little girls to get involved in. I think that it will help her with her coordination and it is really just a great experience for her to spend time with girls her age, especially since she is home schooled. I have looked up NYC Dance classes and I have found a studio that seems like it will be a perfect fit for her. They are starting up new classes in Janurary, so I am going to get her involved in them.
