Many marketers have proclaimed PPV marketing to be the next big thing in online marketing. They claim it’s an amazing and inexpensive way to generate huge amounts of traffic to a website. While that may be true, it’s also true that the type of traffic you get from PPV marketing is often of very low quality and derives from some very questionable sources.
For example, when I tested PPV marketing, I asked my account manager what type of products sold the best with their traffic. My account manager told me that questionable products such as Freedom Agency Online did very well. Needless to say, that’s the type of product I would never want to promote and I would hope you would never want to promote either.
In fact much of the training I saw for PPV marketing seemed to focus on how to trick people out of their money. That’s not the type of business I want to run. In fact, it’s not a business at all. It’s outright fraud.
